Recuerdo que cuando era chiquita una vez pregunté a mi mamá: ¿Porqué las canciones siempre tratan sobre el amor? A lo que ella me contestó: “Por que el amor es lo que mueve al mundo”. En ese momento no comprendí el verdadero significado de lo que me decía, fueron años más tarde cuando todo tuvo sentido para mi.
El amor rompe todas las reglas de la lógica y la practicidad; de lo contrario, como me explico levantarme a las 4am para ir a tomar fotos? Y aún más, como me explico que mi esposo me acompaña?! Si lo vemos con lógica, es una locura, pero la razón es el amor… el amor por lo que hago y el gran amor (que supongo mi esposo me tiene). Pensemos, ¿que nos mueve? ¿qué te hace levantarte en la mañana? Es el amor! Y no me refiero al amor cliché de 14 de febrero con globitos y cartitas… sino a esa fuerza interna que nos hace ir más allá, la que hace que lloremos cuando fracasamos, la que nos hace gritar, reír, trabajar, comer, e incluso dormir.
Creo que todo, si llegamos al fondo de las cosas y lo separamos en sus partes más simples, llegamos a ese sentimiento puro y fuerte.
El amor nos mueve en muchas formas, y por él, hacemos cosas que nunca nos imaginaríamos capaces… por amor, Aldo viajó junto con su novia Goretti desde Guadalajara hasta Tequisquiapan para viajar en globo; por amor, estando a 1,100 metros de altura, Aldo decidió pedirle que pasara el resto de su vida con él… por amor, ella aceptó.
Por amor, somos lo que somos y hacemos lo hacemos… ¡Tenías razón mamá! El amor es lo que mueve al mundo.

When I was Little, I remember asking my mom why songs always were about love. She said: “because love is what keeps the world moving” At that time, I didn’t understand what she really meant, years later, that made sense to me.
Love breaks all the logic and practical rules, otherwise how do you explain getting up at 4am for a photoshoot? And even more, how do you explain that my husband is going with me?! If you see it with logic… I’m insane, but the real explanation is: LOVE. Love for what I do, and love that I think my husband feels for me.
Let’s stop for a moment and think about it, what moves you? What makes you get up in the morning? That’s love! And I don’t mean that corny love from Valentine’s day with balloons and love letters, I mean that inner power that make us go further. The one that make us cry when we fail, the one that make us laugh, yell, work, eat and even sleep.
If you think it through, go deep and analyze the reasons of what we do, you’ll get to this pure and strong feeling. Love move us in such a different ways, it can make us do things we thought otherwise imposible or incapable to do.
For love, Aldo and Goretti traveled all the way from Guadalajara to Tequisquiapan to fly on a Hot Air Balloon, once they reached the 1,100 mts high, Aldo asked Goretti to marry him… for love, she said yes.
For love we are who we are and do what we do… You were right mom! Love is what moves the world.
